About Us
A New Horizon for Precision Agriculture
New Horizon Precision is a Tennessee-based agricultural services company delivering licensed aerial application and data-driven crop solutions across the Southeast. We specialize in precision spraying using advanced unmanned aircraft systems to apply chemicals accurately, efficiently, and responsibly. We specialize in environments where traditional ground equipment is limited by terrain, crop sensitivity, access constraints, or environmental conditions.
Our operations are built around safety, compliance, and operational discipline. As licensed commercial applicators, we adhere strictly to federal and state regulations while leveraging modern aerial platforms to reduce chemical waste, minimize crop damage, and improve overall application outcomes. At New Horizon Precision, technology is a tool deployed with purpose, accountability, and respect for the realities of modern agriculture. We exist to help producers operate more efficiently today, while preparing for the next era of precision agriculture.

Our Team
About our founders...

Matthew Jones & Spencer Dore | Co-Founders
The Founders of New Horizon Precision are the beating heart and lifeblood behind our drone fleet. Together we aim to transform access to autonomous capabilities and data for farms across the southeast. Matthew combines a lifelong love of agriculture with an education in programming and image analysis. His family’s bicentennial farm in Middle Tennessee has shaped his roots. Today, he remains grounded in Ag and trained in precision. Spencer brings a background in remote systems, entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, and demonstrates the knowledge to turn emerging technologies into real solutions. His goal is to leverage emerging capabilities to strengthen farmers throughout the region.

Orgin
A Business Born in the University of Tennessee
New Horizon Precision started the way many good ideas do, with a problem that needed solving and two partners willing to roll up their sleeves. As students at the University of Tennessee, we watched farmers across Tennessee struggle with steep terrain, tight application windows, and rising costs. Fueled by entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for data analytics and imagining technology, we set out to leverage emerging technologies and implement a solution.

Through UT's Anderson Center for Entrepreneurship and the NSF I-Corps program, we got out of the lab and into the fields. What land managers and farmers told us was clear: they need timely precision aerial application designed for the Southeast. Our solutions are purpose built for this mission.
